Wedding Bells

Well for those of you who don't follow me on facebook . . . I'm engaged to a wonderful man! His name is Adrian and he is from Mexico City. Yes, yes I know a chilango! Let me say that this is it! I am grateful that we have met and had an opportunity to get to know each other. We were engaged in January and have decided to get married in June. This seems like a long time but as the weeks go by I think that this is the right time. We have a place for the reception, temple booked, and I have my dress (beautiful A/ballgown, poofy but not too poofy)! We have our colors pink and green as well as the caterers (my wonderful uncle Carlos), a cake and a DJ! We entered the $50,000 wedding giveaway which would be fun and we will find out in March if we win it! Today I won a package from Fotogenix in Orem $800 worth of free pictures after going to the crazy Bridal Fair at PHS last weeked! YEAH! and so things keep coming together!

I continue to do grad school although this week seems to be kicking my rear! I have not been feeling well. In fact right now I am at work but it is really slow and I am blogging in order to not fall asleep since I need to be here until 7:30 pm. It's the sore throat thing that is going around that is really killing me-and tomorrow I have my Educational Law class which I CANNOT miss since I missed it last week. I hate being almost sick but not really sick . . . that is the worse . . . I mean if I'm going to get sick then bring it on (after the LAW Class of Course)!

Besides that all is well. Trying to find someone to rent my lovely abode . . . so if you know of anyone please let me know! Personal References would be greatly appreciated!

My students are loving the fact that I'm engaged and they have a count down on my board along with graduation . . . ha ha ha oh Senioritis! I love that they want to know all the details and truth be known I've told them a lot but not EVERYTHING! For heaven sakes! Last weekend I got in a little tiff with my fiance (better that he get to know me before the I Do's) and I explained that when I have a headache or not quite my beautiful lovely intelligent self, I NEED a drink of water. STAT! My family knows this, my students know this and he should know this as well. He didn't believe that it was that easy so . . . When we went to out to eat and found a student he asked her "What do you do if Srta. Ayala has a headache or is in a bad mood?" and then she said with out hesitating "Give her water!" ha ha ha it was priceless.

So I love my fiance, love planning the wedding, love my classes although they are hard, love my students and I guess all the LOVE is appropriate since it is February . . . the month of Friendship and Love . . . and that is the truth!
