The Truth About Big Decisions . . . Big Opposition!

So as you can see from the picture today at 4:30 pm, on my way to class, trying not to be late I was rear ended by a Ford F-250. Lucky I'm alive-I know that is what you are thinking . . . my geo prizm didn't have a chance but I was hit at about 5 miles per hour at a stop sign waiting to make a right hand turn. Lucky she didn't come to me 65 mph cause it would have been much worse. After the initial shock I remembered driving on the freeway and thinking to myself "The last thing I need right now is a car accident" so I slowed down. I also remember my Educational Law professor saying that it wasn't worth coming down the freeway and getting in an accident just to get to class. Aaaaahhhh . . . I am a woman of feeling. It never fails. So I wish this was the only opposition and I don't mean to brag . . . so all I will state is the following:

For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, ... , righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility. 2 Ne. 2: 11

The truth is that I am grateful to know that opposition comes hand in hand with great blessings and that all we need to do is move forward. My father told me that this may happen . . . After all we are only 11 days away . . . and he is almost always right!
So the truth is that there really is opposition to all things and then come the greatest blessings: righteousness, holiness, goodness, life, happiness and sense... and that is the truth!
